Preservationists to get nod at "Legendary Landmarks" gala

Art dealer Richard Gray and arts patron John H. Bryan will be honored for their successful effort to keep Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s renowned Farnsworth House from being sold and moved out of state in 2003, according to today’s Chicago Sun-Times. The two will join jazz legend Ramsey Lewis as honorees at Landmarks Illinois‘ second annual “Legendary Landmarks” black-tie fund-raiser on March 3. The event will benefit an endowment for Farnsworth House.
