We made an early stop Thursday night at “Splish Splash,” Smithfield Development’s attempt to sell condos at its SoNo project by harnessing the sex appeal of Neiman Marcus swimwear. Said swimwear was being modeled in the SoNo sales center, 1454 N Dayton Ave. The theme was a natural according to @properties, which claims the development will have the hottest rooftop pool and deck in Lincoln Park. Unfortunately, we could only stick around long enough to mingle with the early crowd and peruse the scale model. SoNo (short for “South of North Avenue”) has one- and two-bedroom floor plans, with prices starting at $274,000.
