We’ll admit we give those “55 and better” communities a hard time, but the new condos under construction at Midway Village, 6700 S Keating Ave, don’t really look all that bad. The two-story elevator buildings are part of a nearly-six-acre “campus” that has a library, media center, fitness center, computer lab and, oh yeah, the completed building pictured at right, which looks like it goes a long way toward reminding residents they’re in a glorified nursing home. One- and two-bedroom condos at Midway Village are priced from the $160s.
