Our roving reporter Jordan has been making the rounds of new home developments in Chicago’s north and northwest suburbs, taking a fresh look at places he visited a year ago.
Ryland Homes Lancaster Falls development in Volo appears to be doing better than some other developments, with a number of homes being built in the Landmark Series portion of the development. There’s been less activity in the higher-priced Premier Series.
Landmark Series homes at Lancaster Falls include 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 ½ baths and a 2-car garage. They’re base-priced from the high $180s to the high $250s. The larger Premier Series homes are base-priced from the $250s to the $280s and most include a 3-car garage.
