Nine condos coming to 118 North Halsted

New condo development at 118 N Halsted St in Greek Town, Chicago

The design isn’t new, but the condos are. This style of four-story brick building has been slowly creeping into the West Loop over the past few years. It started with Morgan Row, at 27 – 41 N Morgan St, and then we noticed a nearly identical development further west, at 17 – 25 N Bishop St. Now, RMR Partners is unveiling a smaller building that looks very similar to the other two at 118 N Halsted St in Greek Town.

Renata Williamson from RMR and @properties says the nine-unit building is still under construction, and workers are just starting to install drywall.

A Web site has launched, and it promises spacious units and unobstructed skyline views, but it doesn’t contain any other information about the development. Williamson says she won’t start marketing the nine-unit project until next month, and the development won’t be ready for first deliveries until March.

118 North Halsted will have three-bedroom-plus-den / three-bath duplexes with private roof decks on the top floors, and six single-floor units with three bedrooms and two baths. The duplexes will be sold in the $620s, and the single-floor units will be priced from the $490s to the $520s.
