When a Belgravia Group affiliate acquired 11 unsold units in Phase I of CA23, a luxury condo development in the West Loop, it expected a 12-month sellout.
The Phase I units sold in half the expected time. Buyer interest in the 24-unit Phase II prompted Belgravia to begin construction on the project well ahead of its anticipated date.
What’s generated the interest is a combination of CA23’s location, its high-end finishes, and its layouts — single-floor, 3-bedroom, 3-bath homes with the space typically found only in 4-level townhomes in the West Loop.
I recently sat down with Zev Salomon, who is managing the project for Belgravia, and he informed me that 10 Phase II units are under contract.
