Greetings from Tucumcari, New Mexico. As we’ve been creating our Chicago loft guide, we’ve come across another building with an interesting history, Post Card Place Lofts, 1733 W Irving Park Rd. The building once housed a printer called Curt Teich & Company, which was a pioneer in the use of off-set printing but is best known for supplying colorful postcards with big bold lettering to cities and towns, small and large, across the United States, according to creativepro.com. These days, the building contains 65 lofts with one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. If any of our readers live at Post Card Place Lofts or know someone who does, hit “Comment” and tell us more about the development.
