If you thought the 3900 block of South Drexel Boulevard in North Kenwood – Oakland was busy before — when we showed you Boulevard Townhomes, 3986 South Drexel and 4010 South Drexel — just wait until developer Sutherland Pearsall starts cranking out these five “stately Victorian mansions” at 3952 – 3968 S Drexel Blvd. We’re quite certain Queen Victoria passed some years ago, so it’s hard to understand why homes are still being built in her name. Nevertheless, check out the size of the home on the far right… certainly sizable enough for the erstwhile Empress of India. We’re still trying to find out the prices on these single-family homes, but we can tell you they’ll have brick and stone construction, 2.5-car garages, hardwood floors, Canac cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, Grohe plumbing fixtures, stone bathrooms and whirlpool tubs.
