Edens Lost and Found might sound like the chronicle of someone who missed his exit on a Chicago expressway, but it’s actually the companion book to the PBS series of same name chronicling “the forward-looking transformation of America’s urban landscapes.” The book and television series examine the impact ordinary citizens, architects, builders, city officials and government agencies can have on the quality of life in the urban jungle. No surprise that Chicago, with its blossoming rooftop gardens and copious trees, is one of four cities focused on.
