Seven Bridges condos: the only 24-hour door staff in suburbia?

Seven Bridges condos

It’s hard to see the Condominium Residences at Seven Bridges as having “all the benefits of an urban downtown location,” as a news release for developer The Gammonley Group insists. If the neighboring 18-hole golf course and mall didn’t tip you off that the Woodridge project was in suburbia, the name should have (can we please stop saying “condominium residences,” by the way? Call ’em condominiums, without the pretension of “residences,” and we’ll get that people are supposed to live there).

But we’re intrigued by another claim in the release: “Ours is the only known suburban condominium community that provides a doorman who’s on duty round the clock every day of the year.” Let’s assume Gammonley is talking Chicago suburbs here. Optima’s glassy new suburban high-rises don’t have 24-hour door staff. Do any others? Click on “Comments” below and let us know if this really is a first.
