It’s hard to tell from the night photography, but there is actual fake snow (how’s that for a phrase?) falling in this giant snow globe, captured in a front lawn on the 4700 block of North Springfield. A humming compressor keeps the flakes a-swirling and prevents Frosty from melting. We’ve seen some beautifully kitschy decorations this season, but few that eclipse the host home in quite this way, and none that could replace it reasonably well in the event of foreclosure.
