As someone who dabbles in photography almost every day, I’m always in awe of the work of professional photographers. While I try to do a credible job of portraying what a place looks like, Paul Morgan paints an image with light, brings a place to life and involves you in what it feels like.
When you see the city through the eyes of a talented photographer, it’s “always the city seen for the first time, in its first wild promise of all the mystery and the beauty in the world.”
I visited Hubbard Place, the new luxury apartment tower in River North, several times when it was under construction, but haven’t seen the finished product.
