Streeterville condos served up raw

900 N Dewitt Pl No cookie-cutter condos happening here. Sudler Sotheby’s agents Andrea Tucker and Carol Browne are marketing 10 units of raw space at 900 North Dewitt Place in Streeterville. Tucker told the Yo that each full-floor condo, which has upwards of 4,200 square feet, is gutted and left as a blank canvas for buyers to come in with their own architects and designers. The two upper floors, Tucker said, have already been sold to a buyer who plans to turn them into a 7,900-square-foot duplex. One other unit has also sold, and the seven that remain are priced from $1.9 million to $3.2 million. The first floor of the circa-1920s building will be common space with a library, media room with wet bar, an exercise area with a training pool and sauna, a catering kitchen, and two pieds-à-terre for residents’ in-town guests. On the roof, there’s also a 1,600-square-foot garden with a year-round, climate-controlled greenhouse and fireplace. Residents also have individual wine storage areas. What do yo’all think? If money is not an option, would you prefer to sculpt your own home from raw space or walk into a ready-made luxury condo?
