Take a ride on the Bronzeville art tour trolley

Bronzeville has seen a resurgence of residential and commercial development, including the renovation of historic homes along King Drive and the addition of four new art galleries. Add to this the South Side Community Art Center, the oldest African American art center in the country, which has called Bronzeville home for the past 60 years, and you’ve got a neighborhood in need of exploration. To get you started, take a spin on the Bronzeville Art District Third Friday Trolley Tour, tonight at 6:15 p.m. The tour is free and includes stops at five art galleries, as well as plenty of opportunity to gawk at the houses lining King Drive. Pick up the trolley at either the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, at 22nd Street and King Drive or at the intersection of 47th Street and King Drive. And if you give it a go, let Yo know.
