Coldwell Banker’s Linda Martin loves to draw a crowd by staging events at open houses and inviting local businesses that are an integral part of the local housing scene.
In this video segment Roberta Rubin of The Book Stall at Chestnut Court talks about the importance of books in decorating a home — and about some of the quirky ways people choose the books they do.
Roberta also is known for hosting events with authors, including Jimmy Carter, Peter Jennings and Caroline Kennedy. She recently had a book-signing with Alan Page whose career trajectory went from the Minnesota Vikings to the Minnesota Supreme Court.
Other participants in the event included award-winning architectural designer Geno Benvenuti, a florist, a banker, a caterer, a gardener and a jeweler.
