Looking back on a year’s worth of excellent posts in YoChicago’s neighborhood journals, we feel like we’ve learned heaps of interesting things we might never have known about neighborhoods from Woodlawn and Calumet Heights all the way up to Edgewater and Rogers Park. It wasn’t easy, but we pulled together a list of some of our volunteers’ best work. We’re always looking for new writers to give us the lowdown on the ‘hoods where they hang their hats– there’s so much happening in the different parts of this wildly diverse city, and we want an insider’s perspective. Drop us a line if you want to write for YoChicago.
