Trio tower keeps on growing in Fulton River District

Trio, 650 W Wayman St

In the two months that have passed since my last visit, Trio‘s tower at 670 W Wayman St has almost doubled in height, and its two neighboring mid-rises have started to show signs of occupancy. (Check out the bikes and chairs and DirecTV satellites perched on the balconies.)

Trio, 650 W Wayman StA third of Trio’s 109 mid-rise condos are still for sale, as are most of the 100 units inside the ever-growing high-rise (which will top out at 22 stories). Prices of the one- to three-bedroom homes range from the $240s to more than $1 million.

Now that the nearby Fulton Place has reached sellout, the only development in the Fulton River District with units still available is The Thrush Cos740 Fulton. As I reported last month, that project’s remaining stock of one- to three-bedrooms are selling from the $300s to the $800s.

That’s a narrower range than at Trio – a little higher on the low end than Trio, and lower on the high end, too – but prices are probably comparable at the projects’ larger one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. It’s probably worth taking a look at similar units side-by-side; I’ll try to get around to that in the next day or two.
