Homeowner Anton Jankuski figured something was wrong when strange cracks started to appear and the doors would no longer lock at his house in Manteno, according to a story in today’s Chicago Tribune. He no doubt was hoping for a poltergeist, which would have been much easier to eliminate than the 15-inch sewer pipe that’s running diagonally beneath – and slowly destroying – his home. Now, he’s haunted by lawsuits as he tries to salvage the investment of a lifetime.
