You can’t get a much more prominent spot than North Lake Shore Drive. Thousands of drivers whiz (or crawl, depending on the traffic) by the site of 600 Lake Shore Drive every day, and the dual towers have progressed quite a bit since we last photographed them. In fact, what exists of the buildings so far makes us think they’ll be more interesting than what the rendering presents– the actual geography of the site allows for some gentle angles on each tower. Construction on the 40-story north tower is moving along a little faster than its 46-story mate to the south because the former is nearly sold out. Prices on the development, which will have a total of almost 400 condos, range from the $360s to $1.9 million. A sales center is located at 481 E Ohio St. See more photos inside.
