This summer, some Yo readers were wondering why construction on Zen was moving a little slowly, but we stopped by last week and found Oculus Development‘s 82-unit mid-rise had grown by leaps and bounds since we last photographed it. The charcoal-colored masonry is up on the base, already prompting us to speculate that Zen could shape up to be one of the most attractive new buildings in the West Loop. The building, located at 225 S Sangamon St, has one- and two-bedroom condos priced from the $230s.
