X/O to launch sales on second tower

X/O

X/O, the pair of towers designed by architect Lucien Lagrange to evoke a dancing couple, will launch sales for its 34-story south tower on May 5.

The one- to three-bedroom condos, marketed exclusively by Frankel and Giles Real Estate, range from the $300s to upwards of $2 million.

The project will likely break ground at the South Loop site in spring 2008, with deliveries on the south tower starting about 22 months later, according to Keith Giles of Kargil Development.

The 46-story north tower is about 50 percent sold, Giles says. Ten townhouses will sit at the base of the towers. Giles has said Kargil will begin selling them toward the end of 2007.

X/O also includes the 17,000-square-foot “Spa X/O,” which will include an “aqua grotto” with a lap pool, a heated waterfall, a Whirlpool, a Hamam (Turkish steam bath) and a Finnish-style wood sauna.

By the way, New Homes Magazine just named X/O 2007’s best new high-rise over 20 stories. Also, check out our recent video with developers Jerry Karlik and Keith Giles.
