1225 Old Town over 85% leased; Plum Market begins construction

by Joe Zekas on 12/19/12

1225 Old Town, the sponsor of our Old Town Rental Guide, had leased more than 85% of its 250 studio to 3-bedroom apartments as of late last week. First occupancies in the building were less than 6 months ago.

According to David Bach of Hines Interests, “the biggest piece of news for the property is that Plum Market has started construction activities for the build-out of their store in the building. Their addition to Wells Street is going to be an absolute game-changer. Plum Market stores have a great physical appearance, a focus on fresh and organic foods, provide of tons of prepared foods, have a terrific wine selection, and a lot more that’s different.”

I recently toured several apartments and the extensive amenities at 1225 Old Town:

Impressive! When do they break ground on the smaller building they are planning?

The smaller building is JDL only – no firm date announced for groundbreaking.
