An affiliate of Fifield Companies received Plan Commission approval yesterday to move forward on a 31-story, 310-unit apartment tower at Chestnut and Orleans. The development will include 174 parking spaces and ground-level retail space. Construction is estimated to begin early next year.
The first two phases of Basecamp River North are sold out, but construction has yet to begin. Soil testing was taking place on Tuesday when the above shot was taken. Phase III units are priced from $562,900 for 3-bedroom, 3-baths and $749,900 for 4-bedroom, 3 ½ bath homes.
The 5-story, 71-unit Scott Residences, 211 W Scott in Old Town, is planning to deliver occupancy late this year.
The steel and glass 6-story, 23-unit apartment building at 858 N Franklin is nearly closed in and is targeting occupancy this summer.
