I spy finished balconies at Parc Huron

The temporary two-by-four barriers ringing many of Parc Huron‘s concrete balconies are coming down and new metal railings are going up. Construction is cruising along at the tower, located at 469 W Huron St in River North, so maybe we’ll see some floor plans and updated prices posted up on the tower’s Web site in the near future.

I liked the blue glass in the original rendering better than the green that they finished with. I hope they are still going to paint the concrete white, instead of yellow or beige.

Overall looks good and welcome additional to the neighborhood.

I tend to like the green glass a little better than the blue, I think it provides a good contrast to the buildings in the neighborhood.

The bigger question for me is not really paint color. Hopefully the stone work on the podium that is shown on their website hasn’t been VE’d down to just paint.
