Yikes. We don’t anticipate too much outdoor entertaining happening in the garden units at Belmont Row. Take a look at the “sunken patios” on those units — it looks like the cloistered concrete bunkers can barely hold a patio chair. On the plus side, owners of these units will be way ahead of the pack if trench warfare ever breaks out on Belmont. Two of the three buildings that make up the Row, located at 2734 W Belmont Ave in Avondale, are nearing completion. Plans call for a total of 20 condos with two or three bedrooms, and prices range from the $310s to the $380s.
