New convenience store, CTA station near The LEX apartments

by sponsored post on 7/2/14

The McCormick Market opened just over a month ago on the block west of The LEX, a luxury, full-amenity apartment and loft complex in the South Loop.

The early reviews at Yelp have been positive, with mixed opinions on the store’s not selling alcohol. The deli counter is well stocked and prices have been reported to be reasonable.

Construction appears to be accelerating on the new CTA Green Line stop on Cermak, two short blocks west of The LEX. The goal is to have the station operational before Thanksgiving.

Residents at The LEX have a view of the controversial new sign on the Trump Tower from Wabash Ave, two short blocks west of the building.

The LEX offers 12 different one-, two- and three-bedroom, two-bath floor plans with high ceilings and condo-quality finishes.
