The latest set of monthly data on home sales and prices at Redfin dates back to March, which already feels like it was ages ago. Consider this a trip through the WABAC machine.
All I was looking for yesterday before stumbling upon “West Park” were the latest numbers of homes sold and median sales prices for the North Side’s major neighborhoods. As we’ve demonstrated, Redfin’s neighborhood names and boundaries are…creative…but at least it defines those boundaries.
- Lake View / Wrigleyville: 1,817 homes for sale, 116 homes sold; median sale price in the $330s, or $262 per square foot
- Boys Town: 828 homes for sale, 47 homes sold; median sale price in the $250s, or $222 per square foot
- Lincoln Park: 1,080 homes for sale, 83 homes sold; median sale price in the $350s, or $293 per square foot
- Lakeview East: 298 homes for sale, 13 homes sold; median sale price in the $280s, or $256 per square foot
- Bucktown: 242 homes for sale, eight homes sold; median sale price in the $360s, or $274 per square foot
- Roscoe Village: 225 homes for sale, 24 homes sold; median sale price in the $360s, or $306 per square foot
- North Center: 210 homes listed, 17 homes sold; median sale price in the $350s, or $260 per square foot
