Seeing Trump Tower and Legacy for the first time

Flying around Chicago this morning and trying to comprehend its visual richness I couldn’t help thinking of a Simon & Garfunkel 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin’ Groovy): “Slow down, you move too fast. You got to make the morning last.”

As Nick Carraway crossed Manhattan’s 59th Street Bridge (a/k/a the Queensboro Bridge) with Jay Gatsby he opined that “the city seen from the Queensboro Bridge is always the city seen for the first time, in its first wild promise of all the mystery and beauty in the world.”

A helicopter was my Queensboro Bridge into Chicago this morning, and it revealed facets of buildings I was seeing for the first time. The images above and to the right are, respectively, windows on the Trump Tower and Legacy buildings.
