The bluebird of happiness at Kingsbury Plaza apartments

by Joe Zekas on 5/29/13

If you look closely at the above photo (click to enlarge) you’ll see a bluebird among the tulips.

Life is sweet, tender and complete
When you find the bluebird of happiness.
You will find perfect peace of mind
When you find the bluebird of happiness.
Bluebird of Happiness

Did whoever planted the bluebird understand what a lovely, welcoming statement it makes?

How many visitors to Habitat’s Kingsbury Plaza apartments have noticed the bird, and how many of those made the association with the song? Or with Judy Garland’s wistful plaint in the Wizard of Oz: “If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow why, oh why can’t I?”
