For those living in apartments and condos, indulging green thumbs can often mean getting creative: hanging plants, indoor herb gardens, tiny easements bursting with all manner of green and leafy. In an effort to reward those persistant enough to make our urban streetscape a bit more flowery and pass on some tips to those who think only single-family homes can have a real garden, Apartment Therapy has declared June Gardening Month, with regular tips and reader write-ins as well as a month-long Greenest Thumb contest to find the best garden.
