Sky55 wants to weigh your dog

Sky55, the new rental high-rise at Central Station, goes to greater-than-average lengths to bill itself as pet-friendly on its Web site, offering pet services such as walking, training and grooming. When we gave them a call we were told we could even bring two pets into the one- or two-bedroom apartments, though the combined weights of the animals couldn’t be more than 25 pounds. How slyly generous of them, because 25 pounds pretty much knocks out husky dogs or the possibility of two dogs, unless they’re teacups. Hell, we’ve known cats that would push the 25-pound limit.

Of course, you could always head to Oh My Apartment, which tries to save the day by offering up a list of weird animals that are small and suitable for apartment living, everything from snakes to chinchillas (think rats crossed with squirrels).
