The Chicago Park District seems pretty excited about its acquisition of this inhospitably fenced-off lakefront open space — a whopping 30 paces worth — sandwiched between the Tiara and El Lago high-rises at 6145 and 6157 N Sheridan Rd in Edgewater. We guess the neighborhood should be happy to get any open space it can.
