Closings at 15 Racine set for February

15 Racine, an eight-unit condo development at 15 S Racine Ave in the West Loop, Chicago

Construction has advanced quite a bit since my last visit to this eight-unit condo development at 15 S Racine Ave in the West Loop. When I spoke with Jason Vondrachek from Quest Realty about 15 Racine in September, he said that construction was behind schedule because they had to wait for city inspectors to come visit the site.

Now, Vondrachek says construction on the building will wrap up by February, and buyers will begin to close on their units around that time as well.

Three of the eight homes in this building are still available, and they all have three bedrooms and two baths. According to the listings, the homes come with Dornbracht, Duravit and Toto kitchen and bathroom fixtures, Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, and Poggenpohl cabinetry.

All three homes have about 1,800 square feet of living space, and they are priced from the $590s to the $670s. In terms of price per square foot, the three units range from $333 to $344 per square foot. That’s a bit more expensive than, but comparable to the other home that Quest Realty is marketing in West Loop at Adams on the Park, 1259 W Adams St, which is priced at about $332 per square foot.
