Sales update: Enterprise down to 64 unsold homes at One Museum Park

One Museum Park and One Museum Park West, 1201 S Prairie Ave, Chicago

I’m so used to seeing One Museum Park‘s 62-story eastern tower at this point, either up close or in the background during a Chicago Bears broadcast, that I often forget that construction hasn’t even finished on the tower’s exterior. It’s central concrete pillar lacked most of its glass skin as recently as Nov. 13, when I shot the picture above, and Ralph Oliva of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage says he doesn’t expect work to completely finish at The Enterprise Companies’ high-rise at 1211 S Prairie Ave until early next year.

Oliva and his fellow Coldwell Banker agents have a total of 64 units listed on the MLS. Most of those are priced above the $1 million mark, but there are a few two-bedrooms left in the low $800s and even a single 955 square-foot one-bedroom priced below $500,000.

Another 22 One Museum Park condos appear to be up for sale again through other brokers. They range from the $490s for a 987 square-foot one-bedroom and reach well past $2 million for a 55th-floor three-bedroom penthouse (which, according to its listing, absolutely positively must sell by the end of January). More than 20 rentals are on the MLS including eight listed by the Coldwell Banker team, suggesting Enterprise is open to leasing out units itself.
