Can you tell them apart?
If it weren’t for the shadowy trees in the rendering, it might be a little bit more difficult. It’s rare that a rendering comes as close to looking like the finished building as this one does, and for a green building, I’m also impressed that the artist restrained from swapping those SUVs for Priuses, as we’ve seen in so many other mock-ups.
The building is located at 1715 N Damen Ave in Bucktown, and the @properties sign posted on the front of it presents the development with a long string of adjectives: “Two green ultra-luxe contemporary full-floor residences” are for sale, it says, and they each have about 3,200 square feet of living space. The building has a “spacious private intensive green roof,” according to the sign, and “”energy efficient heating and cooling systems.”
Only one home at this address is listed on the MLS: a three-bedroom / 2.5-bath condo priced at $1.34 million. The listing, which isn’t short on superlatives, says the unit has “the most opulent contemporary finishes imaginable.” Some of the features that are listed include radiant flooring throughout, Sub-Zero and Miele appliances, and Arclinea kitchen cabinets.
Added: I just learned from Courtney Larisey with @properties that the final unit in this building is under contract, and the building is sold out.
