“In a normal market, these would all be sold by now,” says Brian Coolman of @properties, even though these homes have only been on the market for less than a month. The market is far from normal, of course, and all five of the homes in this new development at 1437 W Diversey Pkwy are still for sale.
The building has two duplex-downs on the lower level, two single-floor units on the second floor, and one full-floor penthouse. Of the penthouse, Coolman says there’s nothing else like it in the city, pointing to its more than 1,200 square-foot outdoor terrace as the main attraction. The penthouse has two bedrooms, two baths and approximately 1,800 square feet of indoor living space, he says.
The duplexes each have about 2,500 square feet of living space and are priced in the $790s. The penthouse is listed for slightly less, in the $720s, and the single-floor units are priced in the $520s.
Coolman says the homes are finished out and ready for immediate delivery, and two of the units have already been set up as furnished models.
