New Lincoln Square townhomes designed around central park

Townhomes on the Square — under construction at 4949 N Lincoln Ave, down the street from Lincoln Manor and Lincoln Center — is another of several new developments along the avenue running through Lincoln Square. According to developer New Haven Homes, the 31-unit townhome community is “designed around a park-like setting including a water fountain, Prairie-style landscaping and Old Chicago street lights.” We caught a quick glimpse into the courtyard, but at present it’s full only of mud and construction workers. The rendering makes it look pretty nice, though — certainly more scenic than some townhome communities we’ve seen. Two- and three-bedroom townhomes are priced from the $490s to the $610s.
