But not everyone does love it.
It’s a place that doesn’t quite hang together, and a place where your Lincoln Park and Bucktown friends refuse to hang. You almost can’t pay them to go there.
It’s a place with lots of markets – Fulton Market, Randolph Market, Haymarket – and not many places to shop. Restaurants and clubs are another story – there are tons of those.
It’s the only place close to the Loop where you can still park your car – and where you might have to dodge a fork-lift truck moving crates of eggs or fish to do it.
