At the edge of Lincoln Park, the 2700 block of Lakewood

If you have long exposure to real estate marketing you’ll roll right past claims that the 2700 block of Lakewood is at “the heart of Lincoln Park” or that the corner of Diversey and Lakewood is “Lincoln Park’s most exclusive new addresses” – without even an eye roll. You’ll simply focus on what’s for sale there – as you should.

Row 2750 on the southwest corner of Diversey and Lakewood is well along in construction, as is a development on the southeast corner. Row 2750’s duplex units are priced from $699K and its 9 townhomes from $1.2M. Matthew Leutheuser of Jameson Sotheby’s has the listings.

There appears to be little progress on the single-family home sites, just to the south, on two of the largest parcels of vacant land in Lincoln Park. Coldwell Banker’s Jennifer Ames and Prudential Rubloff’s John McNaughton have the upper-bracket listings.
