A recent wrap-up of new Lake View condo conversions led to some interesting comments about the investment potential of these former rental units, so we thought we’d start showing you some of the many Lincoln Park condo conversions that we managed to photograph before the cold snap. The great vintage buildings that make up Wexner / Greenberg Associates‘ Deming Row are still getting spruced up. Here we see Deming Estates, located at 466 W Deming Pl. The view (which, considering it overlooks a hospital, is not all that great) from those amazing bay windows starts at more than $1 million. Condos next door at Deming Place (pictured at right) range from the $610s to the $870s.
Also part of Deming Row, Clark Courtyard, located at 2545 N Clark St, has 13 rehabbed condos with one or two bedrooms priced from the $270s to the $400s.
There’s a nice vintage building with 16 rehabbed simplex and duplex condos at 625 W Arlington Pl. Prices range from the $260s to the $460s and include one year of parking. Down the street at 603 W Arlington is East Lincoln Park Place, a relatively boring and boxy number with 13 rehabbed one- and two-bedroom condos priced from the $280s.
